Teachers are like second parents to our children, so giving them a creative teacher Christmas gift is the least we can do. Your child will be under their teacher’s care for over 1,000 hours a year. A gift is a symbol of our appreciation for all that they do for (and put up with) our child.

I have three children at this time, so I get the pressure of having multiple children to provide teacher Christmas gifts for. Add in extra teacher assistants and that can mean multiple teachers per child. It can be a little crazy.

With that being said, I used to be a teacher before I had my first child so it is important to me to show my gratitude and support.

The Inspiration for a Low-Cost Teacher Gift

When you have multiple teachers to purchase for it’s best to find packages that have multiples in them. I like to do this at a bulk or wholesale store such as Costco.

All of the items I used for the video were found at Costco, but this is NOT a sponsored post. You could find similar items elsewhere.

The first item was a set of Lounge Socks that had 4 to a pack. They are so soft. I can imagine the teacher enjoying a cup of coffee over winter break relaxing in her new comfy socks.

The next item I was looking for was a personal care item they could use up. I was thinking maybe those eos Lip Balms, but they were not on sale at the time of my purchase. Instead, I chose a set of Goat’s Milk Lotions.

And last but not least I wanted to top off the gift with a sweet treat. So, a bulk container of individually wrapped Kirkland’s Signature Chocolates was just what I needed.

Christmas Activity for Kids as Teacher Christmas Gift Package

The real winner for this Creative Teacher Christmas Gift is the wrapping. It is an activity your children can do at a very young age with a little supervision. You may choose to use hot glue, but I let my children use Elmer’s Glue for as much independence as possible.

I don’t know how I thought of this, but I had a couple of chip cylinders I was saving to do some kind of craft project with. I had the idea to make them into snowmen. The chip cylinder lid makes it a perfect package, so voila I put the two together and came up with this project.

I hope this Christmas activity for kids entertains your littles. I had my children do this over Thanksgiving break. It was a nice boredom buster.

And as a bonus, it distracts the children from wanting gifts and focuses their energy on doing something for someone else. My children were so excited to give their special gifts to their teachers. And their teachers were appreciative of the thoughtfulness.
